چکیده
Clownfish is one of the most demanding-marine ornamental fish. Due to increased demand clownfish, wild clownfish catch has also been increasing, until reaching overexploitation condition. One way preserve existence this fish species and sustainably fulfil market by conducting a culture technique with advanced application using recirculating-aquaculture system, specifically larviculture. Thereby, paper reported procedure larviculture determined growth performance larvae during activity. This reviewed direct observational operation for 40 days at Rizky Mitra Karya Hatchery, Buleleng, Bali. All data were analyzed descriptively. During culture, process was composed rearing media preparation, egg-clutch collecting stocking, larval rearing. included feeding management in each part (broodstock rearing), water quality control setting RAS standard harvest juvenile However, hatching rate lower than given. Egg collection scrapping method produced due more human error discovered. To gain better improvement, rotifer as live feed fluctuated weather condition seasonal transition, which impacted on availability should be handled intensively. Therefore, proper indoor thorough intake observation larvae, stocking directly taking from broodstock tank are necessary stabilize production high sustainability level.

Article history: Received: 18 February 2016 Accepted: 27 September 2016 Published online: 3 November 2016 Abstract Neoplasia affecting a variety of tissues has been documented in many fish species. However, there are few reports of neoplasia in the common clownfish, Amphiprion ocellaris. An adult female clownfish in a public display aquarium was diagnosed with a locally invasive tubular carcino...
متن کاملMicrocontrollers in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems
Closed-system aquaculture presents a new and expanding commercial opportunity; however, presently there are few profitable commercial operations. Intensive aquaculture systems require a sufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients in temperaturecontrolled water with a means of removing wastes from the system. In properly controlled recirculating aquaculture systems, stocking rates of up to one-hal...
متن کاملBiological phosphate removal in a prototype recirculating aquaculture treatment system
Efforts to reduce phosphorus concentrations in aquaculture systems have mainly dealt with improving the bioavailability of phosphorus in fish feed. Once released into the culture water, phosphorus is generally left untreated and discharged with the effluent water. In the present study, results are presented on a prototype recirculating treatment system originally designed for removal of organic...
متن کاملPopulations of heterotrophic bacteria in an experimental recirculating aquaculture system
The aim of this work was to identify the main viable heterotrophic bacteria in a marine fish farm with a recirculating water system and to study their growth dynamics. The experiments were performed with sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) in an experimental recirculating water system. The bacteria identified were typical of the marine environment: Pseudomonas, Oceanospirillum, Marinobacter, Paraco...
